Jhapa Football Club of Province No. 1 has arrived in Hetauda, Bagmati Province's capital, to begin a 'close camp.' Jhapa FC, which is making its first appearance in the 'C' division league, has started their training in Hetaudaprior to the game.
SujanGautam, the club's general secretary, stated that the players were brought to Hetauda to adjust to the climate because the two cities' (Hetauda and Kathmandu) environments are similar. The players will spend two weeks in closed training in Hetauda, according to him.
Gautam stated that his team will be playing in Hetauda for the time being because they will be competing in the C Division Qualifiers, which began on 26th of August, 2021. He revealed that talks are underway to play a friendly match with FC Vijay Youth of Makwanpur, who competed in the 'C' Division League qualifiers during the closed training.
Jhapa FC, which arrived in Hetauda on 22nd of Augustand began closed training, is expected to stay until 10th of September, 2021.
According to Gautam, the players do not have to travel long distances all at once because traveling from Hetauda to Kathmandu is simple. Jhapa FC is currently training 18 players after becoming Nepal's first private limited company.
Local players were also taking part in the training, he said, and if he found a good player during the final selection, he would go to the selection competition by including that player in the team with his consent.
The players are being trained at the Forest Science Study Institute in Hetauda after consulting with the Makwanpur District Football Association. The club has declared that the players are not permitted to leave the hotel as a result of the increase in the cases of Corona virus.
According to team manager AbhinashRajbanshi, the players are also being prepared to be fully vaccinated against the corona virus within 1-2 days. Training kits, playing kits, and travel kits were provided to the players under the supervision of FC licensed coach SachindraDhimal. The club has been spending Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 per day on food and lodging for the players, coaches, and managers in Hetauda.
According to General Secretary Gautam, the club has been collaborating with FC Chitwan of the Nepal Super League to develop football from the grassroots in Jhapa, and the club has been sponsored by IME for financial management.
